Question about Marilyn Monroe and surgery..?
Recently The Chive website posted a bunch of rare pictures of Marilyn Monroe right before she died...maybe a month or so. In several pictures and two in particular...she has a very nasty looking scar around the bottom of her right ribcage...maybe 4-5 inches above her belly button. Anyone know what the scar is from?

According to this piece, it was due to a gallbladder surgery she'd undergone several weeks earlier.
