Phaser Peak-All Wheel Drive For Your Feet
the merrell phaser peak waterproof is indeed a tough performer its just perfect for when your out and about in all seasons for any reason.
designed with hiking in mind the phaser peak will be ready to go wherever whenever your ready. these boots are so comfortable you can put them on straight out of the box with no "running in" needed, assuming a good fit you will get no chaffing or blisters due to the polyester mesh lining which has been treated with aegis antimicrobial technology to keep the foot cool and fresh which is of great importance for a great hike without any discomfort.
your not going to get wet feet with these boots not from ingress of water they have waterproof nubuck leather upper which gives a very protective exterior. of course this is assuming that your not going to go paddling in water higher than the boots.
and as for comfort and support the merrell phaser peak has an anatomical foot-bed and 6mm tapered nylon grade 4 insole for superb support and cushioning. which when added along with the EVA foot frame and air cushioned mid-sole to help with the supply of shock absorption which in turn reduces fatigue making for more enjoyable longer hikes.
the trek out-sole which is made from vibram delivers phenomenal traction and grip so if you do feel like hiking through streams and rivers you will be safe and not slipping and splashing around on all fours.
with an average weight of only 25oz of course this varies slightly with boot size, the merrell peak is not going be the reason you have heavy feet at the end of the day.
