Ways alike: they will attempt to assimilate you and will tell you that resistance is futile. Certainly, attempting to resist the will of the admin corps (the real "community") is very often futile within the wikiverse, particularly on those issues where they are unified.
Ways different: although Wikipedia's "community" has many elements of a hive mind, it nonetheless lacks an effective hive mind administration. Wikipedia is more like a cart hitched up to a herd of cats, each pulling in a different direction. Also, their weapons systems are fairly useless; certainly nothing you could use to destroy a ship or a planet with. "Community bans" and "indefblocks" can easily be evaded by children, and often are.
