Why do people look at me like i'm an alien when.....?
I tell them i'm planning a natural birth with no pain relief?
Is that really so odd? I had no pain relief with youngest so don't feel the need for it this time.

I got a lot of wide eyes and ooohs when I had my 2nd child without any painrelief (my 1st was with gas n air and pethidine) by babies 3 and 4 i think they just thought me a little mad.
Go for it, you remember far more and recovery is quicker.
