Who Am I
In case you wanted to
know. My name is James Cox aka Pitdroid on the site or Boba Cox to
some of my friends. I've owned this domain from the beginning.
This is the 5th incarnation of this site and hopefully will be the best.
I'm 41 years old and Live in the Dallas Texas area with my wife of 10 years
(Who hates Star Wars) and my 8 year old Son (Who loves Star Wars).
I grew up with the Star Wars Films. I saw A
New Hope in the theater the 2nd week it was out and I've been hooked since.
I've read every Star Wars book and short story that has been published.
My son and I have almost every Star Wars Lego Set. That is him down
between the two storm troopers on the left column of the site. That
was taken during the Star Wars weekends at Disney World Florida when he was
six right before he was hit by a car.
Yes I said he was hit by a car. It happened in our church parking lot
about 12 feet in front of me while we were going to get on a golf cart to
take us to the front of the church. It
happened on November 18th 2007. Sorry for the suspense. He is
actually doing very good now but it was almost not so. She was doing
about 20 miles per hour and he broke the headlight of her van with his face.
Fractured his nose, eye socket, left check bone, and crushed the left side
of his skull. He skidded about seven feet after hitting the ground and
fractured the back right of his skull then. He was in a coma for 3 days and
non of the doctors or surgeons expected him to live. He even had blown
pupils at the scene. He had emergency brain surgery that day to stop
the bleeding in his skull. He missed a total of 2 months of school
while he recuperated. He was and hopefully will be the hardest and
worst time of my life. But he is my little miracle buddy and is not
allowed to tackle cars any longer. :-) He is now 8 years old and
is doing better then anyone expected. Thank you for reading this if
